The stock world doesn’t talk to people like me.
Hi, I’m Lex. When I walk into a brokerage firm, they grit their teeth because they think I’ll be a ditz. I don’t blame them, because I don’t look like them. I’m not exactly a mid-50’s stiff gentleman in a blue suit. I’m not some trust fund frat boy that flaunts his wealth with fancy cars and pretends his 10% returns are monumental. I’m a 23 year old girl, I got a bright pink mullet, I’m terrified of math, I don’t have a job, and I look like I frequent goth clubs. Nobody takes me seriously, because the stock world doesn’t talk to people like me.
But here’s the deal- I don’t care if they take me seriously. I’m living entirely off my stock trading, a skill I’ve taught myself. Stocks don’t care what you look like. Options contracts don’t know your name. Market knowledge is for everyone, no matter your job, your income level, or your background. This is not just for rich people or math whizzes, this is for anyone who wants some financial stability.
Looking at the current state of stock market education, I see many problems. So many scammers who want to peddle their forex training. So many dry, boring lessons. So many overcomplicated explanations that don’t cut to the meat. So many day traders flaunting risky strategies. I want to help change things up.
Allow me to reintroduce myself. Hi, I’m Lex. I’m a stock and options trader, and I’ve been trading since I was 18 years old. I’m head over heels in love with the stock market, and the market has loved me back. I want to teach you how to work the markets too, no matter your level of knowledge, no matter your income. I want to talk to the people the stock world doesn’t talk to.
